Florence County is located in the northeast corner of South Carolina, at the intersection of two major highways- Interstate 95 and Interstate 20. Florence County is a little more than an hour’s drive from the beautiful beaches of the Atlantic coast, about two hours from the modern metropolitan area of Charlotte, North Carolina and about three hours from South Carolina’s upstate and the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.
