The Florence Stampede and Pro Rodeo, proudly presented by Booty Brothers Western Store, returns to the Florence Center on February 7-8, 2025, marking its 10th anniversary with a weekend of high-energy rodeo action and fun for all ages. This milestone event will feature top-ranked cowboys and cowgirls from across the country, competing against some of the most award-winning livestock in professional rodeo.
Fans can look forward to a lineup of exhilarating events, including bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, calf roping, team roping, cowgirls barrel racing, and the ever-popular wild Brahma bull riding. Each event will showcase the impressive skills, courage, and camaraderie of the athletes as they navigate through intense competition for top honors.
Beyond the arena, the Florence Stampede and Pro Rodeo offers an engaging experience for the entire family. Attendees will enjoy a variety of vendors offering delicious food, unique merchandise, and much more, adding to the festival-like atmosphere and ensuring the fun extends beyond the rodeo arena. After the rodeo on Friday we have up and coming country star Shaylen taking the stage. This is a can’t miss event.

The Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce has announced its’ guest speaker for the 2025 Business Outlook Luncheon will be Alan Wilson, South Carolina Attorney General. The event will be held on Wednesday, March 19 at Florence Center.
As Attorney General, Wilson has focused on fighting human trafficking, with a report in 2019 ranking our state best in the nation for improving its human trafficking laws and last year’s report showing continued improvement in fighting that crime.
The Chamber’s luncheon will include an announcement of the Small Business Person of the Year, which is sponsored by Dedicated Community Bank, and the Public Servant of the Year, which is sponsored by Francis Marion University.
The Chamber’s Ambassador of the Year will also be recognized.
The annual luncheon will again be held at the Florence Center with doors opening at 11:30am and the program beginning at 12 noon.
Individual registration is $40 for members and $50 for non-members. Special reserved tables of 8 are $475.

Lighthouse Ministries will host its 25th Annual BBQ Fundraiser March 17 – 21 from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM. This weeklong event is held to raise money to assist those in Florence County meet their basic needs. The event is held at Holt Bros BBQ.
