Junior Leadership Florence County 4-H November Session

The Junior Leadership Florence County 4-H Class had a great day on Wednesday, November 13th which was focused on healthcare and healthy living.

The students had the chance to explore a variety of important topics and gain hands-on experience, from learning about mindfulness and stress management to diving deep into healthcare professions.

The Jr. Leadership Class visited the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) – Florence Campus and McLeod Health System – Florence.

Students got to practice CPR and engage in fun, yet meaningful, activities like the Family Feud hand hygiene challenge. Being able to connect with professionals and learn about potential careers in healthcare is such a valuable experience for high school students.

The JLFC program is made possible through the partnership with Florence County 4-H, the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce and Francis Marion University.
