St. Anthony School Students Perform In Honor Band Clinics

Six St. Anthony Catholic School students traveled to Cane Bay High School in Summerville last Friday and Saturday for the South Carolina Band Directors’ Association Region 5 Honor Band Clinic.

Anthony Elya (trumpet), Gia Hieshetter (flute), Evangeline Jackson (clarinet), Eli Seif (timpani), OIiver Thomas (trombone), and Maddie Tilton (French horn) all qualified for the honor band clinic.

The Region 5 honor band clinic took place last Friday and Saturday with the final concert on Saturday afternoon at Cane Bay High School. Region 5 extends from Dillon County down to Berkeley County. There are a total of 6 regions within the state.
